Veena Aggarwal
Veena Aggarwal studied at the University of Oxford and graduated in 2016. She worked in Gloucestershire as a Foundation doctor, before spending two years out of training which included 6 months as a Clinical Fellow in Neurology in London and 6 months as a Medical Registrar in Rotorua, New Zealand. She is currently a GP Trainee who has just finished her ST1 year at Kingston Hospital.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, charity shops and playing the ukulele!
Veena has a keen interest in leadership and management, having held roles such as President of the Oxford Global Health Group, Medical Schools Council BMA representative and local GP trainee representative. She has undertaken courses with the ‘Management in Medicine’ Scheme at Oxford.
Veena has undertaken several quality improvement projects, one of which led to guideline changes on monitoring patients taking Clozapine; winning the ‘Most Innovative Quality Improvement Project’ award at her trust’s Quality Improvement Academy.
